Kwickly Answers vs. Booksy: Booking App for Barbers, Salons and Spas
Kwickly Answers prices a booking page, calendar and customer list by bookings a month, while Booksy charges $29.99 a month plus $20 for each added team member and lists a marketplace listing and integrated payments, with processing fees on top. Booksy also lists an AI receptionist, still in beta. A Kwickly Answers phone plan answers your calls from $129.99 a month and, when you choose direct booking, books into the same calendar, and the Online booking plan starts at $14.99 a month with a reminder email sent the day before.
What Booksy does, and what Kwickly Answers adds
Booksy is a booking app for barbers, salons and spas. Its pricing page prints one subscription, $29.99 a month plus tax, with $20 a month for each additional team member, and says every feature is included. Its pricing and feature pages list a marketplace listing you can switch off, booking from Instagram, Facebook and Reserve with Google, waitlists, gift cards, memberships, and No-Show Protection with deposits and cancellation fees on a card kept on file. An optional Boost feature, free to turn on, carries a one-time 30 percent fee, up to $100, on a Boost client's first visit, and card payments are charged by rate, from 2.49 percent plus $0.10 with its card reader to 2.69 percent plus $0.30 for keyed-in and mobile payments.
Booksy's AI Receptionist page calls the feature a beta. It says the assistant picks up when you cannot, books the appointment, speaks English or Spanish, and sends you a summary with a callback request when it cannot handle a call, and that it is free for at least 12 months for those among the first to sign up, inviting the first 500 providers in.
On the Kwickly Answers Online booking plan, booking runs from a page that lists open slots drawn from your hours and service lengths. Each booking gets a confirmation email, the reminder email follows the day before, and the person joins your customer list. A phone plan from $129.99 a month adds an assistant on the line you forward, and you decide whether it books directly or takes a message, which is the default.

Is Kwickly Answers a Booksy alternative?
Yes, Kwickly Answers is a Booksy alternative for a barber shop, salon or spa that wants clients booking online, a calendar and a customer list at a price set by bookings, not by chairs. Booksy's subscription lists a marketplace listing and integrated payments, with processing fees, and it offers a beta AI receptionist. Kwickly Answers begins at $14.99 a month, with phone plans for calls from $129.99.
What do three or five team members cost on Booksy and on Kwickly Answers?
Booksy's bill grows with each team member and Kwickly Answers' grows with bookings, so the comparison turns on how many people take appointments. Figures are monthly, read from the Booksy pricing page on 1 Oct 2026, exclude tax and card fees, and are in US dollars.
One person: $29.99 on Booksy, against $14.99 for 100 bookings on the Online booking plan. Three people: $29.99 + 2 × $20 = $69.99, against $24.99 for 300 bookings. Five people: $29.99 + 4 × $20 = $109.99, against $44.99 for 1,000 bookings.
Calls are separate. Booksy's AI Receptionist page says it is free for at least 12 months for those among the first to sign up, invites the first 500 providers in, and shows no price after that. A Kwickly Answers phone plan starts at $129.99 for 350 minutes, with the calendar, booking page, customer list and email reminders in the same price.
Does Kwickly Answers work if I just need a way for clients to book online?
Yes, Kwickly Answers works for online booking by itself: clients get a booking page, you get a calendar and customer list, and there is no phone assistant or web page to pay for. Sizes run $14.99, $24.99 and $44.99 a month, for 100, 300 and 1,000 bookings, then 10 cents each, and setup is free when you do it yourself.
Can Kwickly Answers replace Booksy?
Yes, for the jobs this page compares: clients booking online, the calendar, a customer list, emailed reminders and, on a phone plan, answered calls. Booksy also lists a marketplace, card payments, and deposits and cancellation fees through No-Show Protection, none of which the Online booking plan takes. The Online booking plan's price does not rise when you add a chair.

Your phone company may charge for forwarded minutes, so ask them, and clients are added one at a time in your portal while your list grows from your bookings, and from your calls on a phone plan. On Kwickly Answers your portal carries a Getting set up list covering your hours, services and prices, your booking page and your reminders, and doing the setup yourself has no setup fee.
Why choose Kwickly Answers instead of Booksy?
- A monthly price set by your bookings, $14.99, $24.99 or $44.99 for 100, 300 or 1,000 of them, which an added team member does not raise.
- A phone assistant on a paid plan: it answers your forwarded calls from $129.99 a month, with your calendar, booking page, customer list and emailed reminders inside that price.
- Extra minutes at $0.50 each, counted by the second, with your plan never moving up on its own.
- A booking link and a QR code for every person and service, and a step-by-step guide to adding a Book now link on your Google, Apple Maps and Facebook profiles, which those companies review first.
