Kwickly Answers vs. Boulevard: Booking and Phone Answering for Salons and Spas
Kwickly Answers sizes a salon's booking page, calendar and customer list by the bookings you take, while Boulevard is salon and spa software priced per location, with its own price for an AI receptionist. Kwickly Answers' Online booking plan begins at $14.99 a month for 100 bookings. For callers, a phone plan from $129.99 a month for 350 minutes picks up the line you forward and, if you choose direct booking, places the appointment in that same calendar. Every Boulevard figure below was printed on its own pages on 2 Oct 2026.
What Boulevard does, and what Kwickly Answers adds
Boulevard is booking, point-of-sale and client-management software for salons, spas, medspas and barbershops. Its pricing page, which opens on a Salon & Spa view (a Medspa view lists different plans and prices), shows Essentials, Premier and Prestige plans priced per location, with Essentials listed for "Up to 5 providers (bookable calendars)", and its comparison table lists online booking, email and text reminders, booking deposits, staff scheduling, a timeclock, memberships, loyalty and card payments. The buttons on those plans read "Get a demo".
Boulevard's AI receptionist is called Beau. Its page says you forward your calls to it, and that it can be set to answer all the time, to back up unanswered calls, or to cover after hours. The FAQ on that page says Beau sends an appointment link with the service requested when a caller is ready to book, offers a transfer to a team member when a caller asks for one or Beau cannot do the task, and takes a message after hours or when you switch transfers off.
With Kwickly Answers, a client opens your booking page and sees the times that fit your hours and the length of the service picked. The booking is confirmed by email, a reminder email goes out the day before, and the client is added to your customer list. A phone plan adds an AI assistant to the number you forward: you set it to book directly or to take a message, which is the default, and calls you treat as urgent are flagged to you by email. The plan price does not depend on how many chairs you have.
How do the plans compare?
Boulevard's Essentials plan is $159 a month for one location in the monthly, Salon & Spa view of its pricing page, and Kwickly Answers' Online booking plan is $14.99 a month for 100 bookings.

Is Kwickly Answers a Boulevard alternative?
Yes, Kwickly Answers can stand in for Boulevard when what you need is booking, a calendar, a customer list and an assistant for the phone. Boulevard is priced by location and plan level, and also lists point of sale, memberships and card payments. Kwickly Answers begins at $14.99 a month for booking, sized by bookings, and from $129.99 a month for a phone plan.
How do Boulevard's plans and Beau compare with Kwickly Answers' prices?
Boulevard's bill follows locations, plan level and AI minutes, and Kwickly Answers' follows bookings and phone minutes, so the gap depends on your volume. The figures are monthly, taken from Boulevard's pricing and AI receptionist pages on 2 Oct 2026, and omit tax and card-processing fees.
Booking: in the Salon & Spa view of its pricing page, one location on Essentials is $159 in the monthly view or $143 in the annual view, for up to 5 providers. On the Online booking plan, 100 bookings cost $14.99, 300 cost $24.99 and 1,000 cost $44.99, whether two stylists share the calendar or six. Boulevard's plan also lists point of sale, memberships and card payments, which the Online booking plan does not include.
Phone: Beau is $125 for 200 minutes, so 350 minutes is $125 + 150 extra minutes × $0.60 ($90.00) = $215.00. Starter (Essential level) is $129.99 for the same 350 minutes, with the calendar, booking page, customer list and reminder emails inside it. Boulevard's page does not say whether Beau can be bought without a plan, so no plan price is added to its sum, and the pages we read (2 Oct 2026) print no rounding rule for its minutes.
Does Kwickly Answers work if I just need a booking page for my salon?
Yes, a booking page on its own is a complete Kwickly Answers plan, and nothing else is bundled in. It costs $14.99, $24.99 or $44.99 a month depending on whether you take up to 100, 300 or 1,000 bookings, each booking beyond your size is 10 cents, and there is no setup fee. A booking link and QR code can be made for each stylist and each service.
Can Kwickly Answers replace Boulevard?
Yes, where the job is online booking, the calendar, a customer list, reminder emails and, on a phone plan, answering calls. Boulevard also lists point of sale, card payments, memberships, loyalty and booking deposits in its plans, and those are not part of the Online booking plan or the phone plans. The plans compared here are priced around the booking and phone jobs.
Boulevard or Kwickly Answers for a small salon or spa that gets calls?
Kwickly Answers, if one account for the phone assistant and the booking page matters more to you than a per-location platform. Boulevard prices Beau at $125 a month per location for 200 minutes, and its page describes Beau as part of the Boulevard platform.
