Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Kwickly Answers: this website, the client portal, and the web pages, booking pages and chat we host for businesses. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- Every page of this website has a "Skip to content" link, one main heading, headings in order, and a visible outline that shows where you are when you use a keyboard.
- Form fields have labels, and buttons and links are big enough to tap.
- A call or message's status is never shown by color alone; a word or an icon says it too.
- Checks we run before each release hold every page of this website to one main heading, no skipped heading levels, and a description on every image.
- We don't use an accessibility overlay or plug-in. We fix the pages themselves.
What we're still working on
- Testing every booking, chat and portal screen using only a keyboard, and with a screen reader.
- Getting every picture on the pages we host described. Businesses can now describe their photos for people who can't see them, but it's up to each business to add those descriptions.
Tell us about a problem
If something on our website, in the portal or on a page we host doesn't work for you, email harley@kwicklyanswers.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within one business day, and while we fix it we'll help you by email with what you were trying to do.
