Acceptable Use Policy
Use Kwickly Answers for your own lawful business in the United States. Don't use it to break the law, to mislead or harass anyone, to send spam, or to interfere with the service or other people's use of it (section 5 of our Terms of Service). This page explains what that means for the phone assistant, texts, chat and the pages we host for you.
Not allowed
- Breaking the law, including telemarketing, robocall, texting, call-recording, advertising and privacy laws.
- Calling people who didn't call you. The assistant answers calls; it doesn't make calls to the public. Don't try to use it for robocalls or cold calls.
- Spam. Texts go only to people who said yes to that kind of text, and only for the three kinds the Terms list: urgent-lead alerts, schedule texts and booking texts. Don't use them to advertise, and don't make a yes to schedule texts a condition of anyone's job.
- Hiding that it's an AI, or that calls are recorded. The assistant tells every caller it is an AI and that the call is recorded and transcribed. Don't instruct it to say it's a person, or to leave that out.
- Pretending to be someone else, or making false claims about your business, your prices or your work on your page or through the assistant.
- Harassing, threatening or abusing anyone, or using the service to discriminate against people.
- Health care. The service isn't for doctors, dentists, clinics or other health-care providers, and must not be used to collect medical information.
- Collecting private numbers. Don't set up the assistant, your forms or the chat to ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, full card or bank account numbers, or passwords. The assistant is set up never to ask for them, and card numbers read out on a call are masked. To take a card payment, use a Stripe payment link.
- Getting in the way of emergencies. The assistant isn't an emergency service. It tells anyone with an emergency to call 911 and anyone in crisis to call or text 988, and marks the call as urgent for you. Don't instruct it otherwise.
- Legal advice. At a law office the assistant is set up not to give legal advice or tell a caller whether they have a case. Don't instruct it otherwise.
- Uploading what isn't yours. Only upload pictures, text and other material you own or have permission to use, with the permission of the people in it.
- Attacking the service. Don't try to get into another business's account, share your sign-in, overload or scrape the service, or get around its limits. If you find a security problem, report it as our Security and trust page explains.
What we may do
If this policy or the Terms are broken, we may take content down, switch off a feature, or suspend or end the service, and we will tell you why. When we must act at once to stop harm or to follow the law, we act first and tell you why afterward, as soon as we can. We close the accounts of businesses that repeatedly infringe other people's rights.
Report misuse
If you think a business is using Kwickly Answers against this policy (for example a call, text, chat or page that seems unlawful or abusive), email harley@kwicklyanswers.com with what happened, when, and the number, page or business involved.
