Put booking on my own Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or GoDaddy website

Open Calendar, then Booking rules, and find Put booking on your website. Press Copy code, paste the code into an HTML or embed box on your own website, and publish it. Customers pick a time and book right on your page. A payment step opens in the whole window, not inside the box.

Before you start

  • Your sign-in for the portal, and your sign-in for your website builder.
  • Online booking is on. If you don't see Put booking on your website at all, it is off: see Customers can't book with me, on calls or online. The box isn't shown for a Custom website made for you.
  • Your booking page is live. Until it is, the box says “Your booking page isn’t published, so there’s no code to copy yet. Publish your web page with Online booking checked, then come back here.” Press Go to Webpage to do that. On the Online booking plan it says “Your booking page isn’t live yet, so there’s no code to copy. Ask us under Help and we’ll put it live.”
  • Your website builder lets you add code. Some only do on certain plans or accounts; each one is noted below.

Steps

Copy your booking code

  1. In the portal, open Calendar, then Booking rules. Put booking on your website is near the top, above Your bookings.
  2. If you want your website's own background to show behind the booking form, check See-through background. The code in the box changes when you tick it, so tick it before you copy.
  3. Press Show preview to see how it will look. The preview is for looking only, so nobody can book in it by mistake. With a see-through background, check the words are easy to read. Press Hide preview to close it.
  4. Press Copy code. You should see Copied. Paste it into your website. If you see Select the code and copy it by hand., click in the code box, select all of it and copy it.

Nothing in this box is saved, and ticking it doesn't change your booking page. You can come back and copy the code again at any time.

Wix (Wix Editor)

  1. Open your site in the Wix Editor and click Add Elements on the left.
  2. Click Embed Code, then Popular Embeds, then Embed HTML. A box is added to your page.
  3. Click the box, click Enter Code, and paste your code under Add your code here.
  4. Click Apply. If the booking form looks cut off, make the box taller on your page, then publish your site.

Squarespace

  1. Edit the page where booking should go.
  2. Hover over the section and click Add block or +, then click Code.
  3. Click the pencil icon on the block and paste your code into it. Check the Mode menu says HTML and Display Source is off.
  4. Save the page. Squarespace says code like this only works on its Core, Plus and Advanced plans, and it may not show while you are signed in. Check it in a browser where you are signed out.

WordPress

  1. Open the page or post in the editor.
  2. Click the + block inserter, search for "HTML", and click Custom HTML.
  3. Click Edit HTML, paste your code, and click Update.
  4. Update or publish the page as usual. On WordPress.com, code like this needs a paid plan with hosting features turned on. On other WordPress sites, an account that isn't allowed to add code (a Contributor, for example) has it removed, so ask whoever runs your site.

GoDaddy Websites + Marketing

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
  2. Go to the page and the place where booking should go, and add a section.
  3. Search for the HTML section and select Add.
  4. Paste your code in the Custom Code field. Leave Forced Height blank so the section sizes itself.
  5. Use Preview to check it, then publish your site.

These builder steps follow each company's own help pages as of October 14, 2026. Their menus can change; if a name here doesn't match what you see, look for the place to add HTML or embed code.

Deposits, saved cards, and changes

  • The booking itself is made in the box on your website.
  • Once deposits and saved cards are switched on for your account: if you take a deposit or save a card, the customer then sees One more step: the deposit or One more step: save a card for this booking. Continue to secure payment opens Stripe's payment page in the whole window, not inside the box. If nothing happens on the first press, they press it again.
  • When they finish, they are on a Kwickly Answers page for their booking, not back on your website.
  • Change or cancel also opens in the whole window.

It worked when

Your published website, opened in a normal browser window and not the builder's editor, shows your booking form with your services and free times. To try a booking without it counting, use Try a booking under Getting set up: see Try a test booking, order or call before customers do.

Still stuck?

Tell me your business name, which website builder you use, the address of the page where you pasted the code, and what that page shows instead. A photo of the screen helps. I'll check what I can.
