Kwickly Answers vs. Intercom: A Website Chat That Books Customers In
Intercom is a helpdesk with the Fin AI Agent priced per seat and outcome, while the Kwickly Answers chat books visitors from your web page into your calendar for a flat monthly price. Intercom's pricing page lists Essential at $29 per seat a month and Fin from $0.99 per outcome, and Fin's own FAQ says it cannot book, schedule or confirm meetings. The Kwickly Answers chat is $19.99 a month on a plan with a web page, sized for about 500 conversations. It is not a helpdesk with tickets or a shared team inbox, and its phone plans answer calls too.

What Intercom does, and what Kwickly Answers adds
Intercom's pricing page (read 13 Oct 2026) lists three helpdesk plans that include the Fin AI Agent: Essential at $29 per seat a month, Advanced at $85 and Expert at $132, each "From $0.99 per Fin outcome". Essential lists the Messenger, a shared inbox and ticketing system, pre-built reports and a public help center. Fin's own pricing page says Fin used with another helpdesk has a $49 monthly minimum that includes 50 outcomes, and that Fin Voice is available through sales at $1.99 per voice outcome.
Fin is trained on your help center and support content and hands a conversation to your team when it cannot resolve it, under escalation rules you set. On appointments, the Fin FAQ is direct: "Fin AI Agent cannot book, schedule, or confirm meetings."
Booking is the job the Kwickly Answers chat is made for. It answers from your services and prices, hours, staff, questions and answers and service areas, the details your phone assistant also uses, and it checks real open times and books the visitor into your calendar. A visitor who wants you rather than the chat leaves a message, which reaches you by email.
It sits on your Kwickly Answers web page and is added to a plan that has one: the Website and booking plan at $39.99 plus the chat at $19.99 comes to $59.98 a month, and Online orders and the Shop plan include the chat. A shared team inbox, tickets and placing the chat on a site hosted elsewhere are not offered today.
How do the plans compare?

Is Kwickly Answers an Intercom alternative?
Yes, Kwickly Answers is an Intercom alternative for a local business that wants its website chat to book appointments rather than run a support desk. Intercom sells a helpdesk priced per seat with Fin priced per outcome; Kwickly Answers sells a chat that books, for $19.99 a month on a plan with a web page.
What does a month of AI chat cost with Fin at $0.99 an outcome, next to a flat $19.99?
Intercom charges a seat plus each Fin outcome, and Kwickly Answers charges one monthly price for its chat, so the gap depends on volume. Figures are list prices read on 13 Oct 2026, with tax left out.
Intercom: one Essential seat is $29 a month. At 300 Fin outcomes a month, 300 × $0.99 = $297.00, so $29 + $297.00 = $326.00. Intercom's two pricing pages describe what counts as an outcome in different words, so read both before relying on a figure.
Kwickly Answers: the chat is $19.99 a month, sized for about 500 conversations, on a plan with a web page; with the Website and booking plan, $39.99 + $19.99 = $59.98, and that also buys the page, booking and customer list. The two do different work: Intercom's seats buy a support helpdesk, and the Kwickly Answers chat books appointments.
Does Kwickly Answers work if I just need a chat that books appointments?
Yes, Kwickly Answers works if the chat's job is booking: it answers questions from your own records and books into your calendar, on your Kwickly Answers web page. The Website and booking plan with the chat is $59.98 a month.
Intercom or Kwickly Answers for a service business with no support team?
For a service business without a support team, Kwickly Answers keeps it to one account: a web page, a chat that books, a calendar and, on phone plans from $129.99, an assistant on the phone. Intercom's pages describe a helpdesk for support teams, with seats, inboxes, tickets and Fin priced per outcome.
Which Intercom features are built, planned or not part of Kwickly Answers today?
- Built, not switched on yet: WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger messages answered by the same assistant in one inbox, where you can take a thread over, where Fin's pages list chat, email and social channels.
- Not part of Kwickly Answers today: a helpdesk with a shared team inbox, tickets and seats for agents, which Intercom's pricing page lists on every plan.
- What Kwickly Answers does today: a chat on your web page for $19.99 a month that answers from your own records and books visitors into your calendar, with phone plans from $129.99 for your calls.
